Our Team. Founded in 1970 by Bob Dubee and John Woytas, Greenwood Tree and Lawn has 40 years in the tree and lawn care business in North Jersey. During that time, we have earned a reputation as the area's leading expert in tree and lawn care and as a company known for exemplary service, quality workmanship and longstanding client relationships.
Still family owned and operated run now Bob and John's sons David Dubee, Tim Woytas, and Raymond Woytas we have grown and evolved as a second generation family business serving a growing number of commercial and residential customers in North Jersey communities.
Tim Woytas
Tim graduated from Delaware Valley College in Doylestown, PA with a BS degree in Ornamental Horticultural. Tim lives in Whippany with his beautiful wife Christina, daughter Taylor, and sons Connor and Jake. Tim is a volunteer firemen in Whippany and he enjoys coaching lacrosse with his sons.
David Dubee
Dave holds a degree in horticulture from the University of Massachusetts. He is a New Jersey Certified Tree Expert and a member of the New Jersey Golf Course Superintendents Association since 1999. He has a passion for working hands-on with clients and his crew from start to finish on projects of all scales. Away from the office he spends time coaching his 3 sons in ice hockey and football.

Ray is a NJ certified tree expert and International Society of Arboriculture Certified Arborist. Ray has worked in the Green Industry for over 20 years. He enjoys working with Greenwood's great clients by helping them to make their outdoor areas safe, healthy, and looking great. Ray has lived his entire life in Whippany, NJ. When he's not at work, he is usually spending time in his own yard or coaching his two sons in baseball or football. Ray is also a past Deputy Chief of the Whippany Fire Department and is still a current active member. Ray looks forward to helping you take great care of the plants on your property.
Gary Gross
Gary is a New Jersey Certified Tree Expert, and he has been a part of the Greenwood family since 1989. Prior to his tenure at Greenwood, he owned and operated a landscape contracting business as well as studied economics at Montclair State College. Gary loves trees and enjoys helping our clients by providing solutions to help enhance their properties.

Growing up in Basking Ridge, NJ, I joined the industry shortly after high school. When I started with a local tree care company, I knew nothing about trees and for that matter, plants in general. I worked my way through the ranks as a ground guy, a climber, a sprayer, a PHC technician, and presently as an Arborist representative.
I became New jersey Certified Tree Expert #451 in 2001 and CAA Master Arborist #28 in 2002. Both credentials are tough to obtain and I am extremely proud to have them. I served on the executive board if the ISA NJ Chapter for four years as coordinator of its annual Work Day project.
I reside in Watchung NJ with my wife Diana and our three boys. As an active member of the community, I regularly hold pruning and plant identification workshops for local schools and garden clubs. Arbor Day is a day close to my heart. I have planted trees on that day with students from elementary schools for the past eight years.
Throughout the years I have been nicknamed the "Tree Doc" because I utilize techniques and technology that are the latest to the industry. If there is a problem I can not identify, I will go through great lengths to find the solution and thus, further educate myself and my clients.
This year I am celebrating 20 years in the industry!!! I have enjoyed the climb and I hope to never stop climbing. Building strong relationships with clients that entrust me to maintain their plant material is what keeps me going. I am excited to join the Greenwood Team and I am looking forward to providing the best Arboriculture service to our clients.
Frank Micklo
Frank is a NJ certified turf specialist and has worked in the lawn care industry for more than 8 years. He prides himself in his work and strives to give his clients the best possible service. Frank was born and raised in Pennsylvania and is currently residing in Succa sunna. When h'se not working, he enjoys spending time with his wife and new baby boy. He also enjoys playing the occasional 18 holes of golf and riding his Harley. Frank looks forward to servicing all of your lawn care needs.
